Prosecution's star witness unwell, court postpones Shahrir Samad's case to Dec 22

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 15 — The trial of former Felda chairman Tan Sri Shahrir Ab Samad, who is charged with failing to declare RM1 million which he received from Datuk Seri Najib Razak to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) was today postponed to December 22 as the prosecution’s star witness is unwell.

Najib himself gave Shahrir RM1 mln cheque — MACC officer

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 14 — An investigating officer from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) told the High Court here today that her investigation revealed that Datuk Seri Najib Razak himself gave the cheque of RM1 million to Tan Sri Shahrir Ab Samad in 2013.
